Terms and Conditions for Fibre Line Installation by IntechConnect

By agreeing to have the fibre line installed by IntechConnect, you acknowledge and accept that you are entering a legally binding contract with IntechConnect, a company owned by IntechService Ltd. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they define the rights, responsibilities, and obligations associated with this service.

1. Service Provider

Service Ownership: The Fibre Internet service is provided by IntechConnect, owned and operated by IntechService Ltd. These terms apply to all services delivered by IntechConnect under the management of IntechService Ltd.

2. Service Activation

  • Activation Date: Service activation will occur upon completion of installation, with the specific installation date agreed upon in advance.

  • Activation Period: Full activation may require up to 24 hours post-installation for testing and system checks.

3. Monthly Billing

  • Billing Start Date: Monthly billing begins from the date of service activation. Invoices will be sent to your registered email address.

  • Invoice Management: You may access and manage your invoices via our secure online customer portal.

4. Payment Options

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via major credit cards and bank transfers through our secure portal.

  • Timely Payment Requirement: Payments must be made on time to ensure uninterrupted service. Late payments may result in service suspension.

5. Service Plans

Plan Details:
IntechConnect offers a 1 Gbps fibre internet plan on a 12-month contract, with pricing based on your property location:

  • Paddington Gardens: £36 per month

  • Barts Square: £25 per month

These rates are fixed for the entire duration of the contract with no hidden fees or mid-contract price increases.

6. Installation and Equipment

  • Scheduling: Installation will be completed by our technicians at a mutually agreed-upon time. A responsible adult must be present at the property during installation.

  • Equipment Ownership: All provided equipment remains the property of IntechConnect and must be returned at the end of the contract. Non-returned or damaged equipment may incur additional charges.

  • Photos During Installation: Technicians will take photographs during the installation process for quality assurance and documentation. Any tampering with the installed setup may result in service disruption and additional charges.

  • Installation Variation: Installation specifics and setup may vary depending on the layout and structure of the property.

7. Home Network Installation and Additional Charges

  • Non-Inclusion of Home Network Setup: Home network installation (e.g., Wi-Fi configuration, internal device setup) is not included in the standard service.

  • On-the-Spot Installation Request: If you request home network installation during the visit, an additional £50 + VAT fee applies, payable immediately.

  • Post-Visit Call-Out Fee: If home network setup is requested after the initial installation, a standard call-out fee of £285 + VAT will apply.

8. Regulatory and Switching Information

  • Not Part of Standard Switching Systems: IntechConnect is not part of the regulated industry switching system. As such, transfers from other providers are not eligible for industry-backed no-cost switching protections, and standard switching benefits do not apply.

9. Use of Services

  • Personal Use Only: The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Resale, redistribution, or unauthorized sharing is prohibited and may result in contract termination.

10. Technical Support

  • Support Hours: Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

11. No Hidden Fees or Price Increases

  • Fixed Pricing Guarantee: Your service rate is fixed for the full 12-month contract. There are no hidden charges or mid-term rate increases.

12. Cancellation and Cooling-Off Period

  • 7-Day Cooling-Off Period: You have the right to cancel the service within 7 days of agreeing to the contract at no cost.

  • Post-Cooling-Off Cancellation: After the cooling-off period, standard termination terms will apply.

13. Termination of Service

  • Notice Period: A 30-day notice is required to terminate your service. Charges will continue until the notice period concludes.

  • Early Termination Fees: If you cancel before the 12-month contract ends, a pro-rata early termination fee will apply.

14. Service Guarantee Policy

  • Policy Access: Please review our Service Guarantee Policy, available on our website at www.intechconnect.co.uk, for detailed information about performance commitments and service expectations.

By proceeding with the installation, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge your agreement to the Service Guarantee Policy. This contract is enforceable under the laws governing service agreements in the United Kingdom.
